Thelma Adams - Lifetime Achievement Award

Thelma Adams, of Caws Cenarth, was honoured with the True Taste Wales Lifetime Achievement Award at the Awards Ceremony last night.

Thelma and her husband Gwynfor have farmed for more than 40 years, and in 1987, after the introduction of EC milk quotas, set up Caws Cenarth, producing traditional Caerffili commercially.

Thelma has attended the Grading course, and sent her son Carwyn, and daughter-in-law Suzanne on Basic Cheesemaking and Soft Cheese courses, following which, new products were developed.
